Tuition and fee discounts of 25% are available under a generous formula that ensures many middle income families will qualify.  Payment options include monthly (10 month), semester and pay-at-once.

Tuition is due June 1 for year-at-once, June 1 and November 1 for semester payments, and monthly on the 1st from June to March for monthly plans.

Monthly payments must begin by June 1, or the 1st of the month following admission, whichever is later.  Payments beginning after June 1 will have a down payment equal to the missed payments so all tuition payments for the year are completed by March 1st of the academic year.  Veritas partners with FACTS to make payments quick, easy and convenient for families; payment options include direct bank ACH or credit card (convenience fee applies).

Books & Uniforms

Families purchase their own books, uniforms, and at-home school supplies. The cost of books ranges from $150 to $900 per student per year, depending on grade and whether the books are purchased new or used, and whether books can be reused from siblings. Some books and resources may be shared by multiple children in the same family. Uniforms are purchased at Lands End. We encourage families to budget $1000 per year per student, as an average, for books and uniforms, though cost-conscious families are often able to vastly reduce this expense through trade, sale or borrowing among the Veritas community.

Withdrawal Policy

Veritas Classical Academy makes commitments to faculty, staff, and facilities long before the start of a new school year. These annual obligations continue even if a child withdraws from the school. Therefore, when a student, either new or returning, enrolls by submitting an Enrollment Contract, the family has entered into a legally binding contract and owes tuition for the entire school year. This is not intended to cause hardship for any family but is a necessary provision to insure the financial solvency of the school.

Should a change in circumstances necessitate retracting your child's enrollment, please let your principal know. An exit interview may be requested. To begin the formal withdrawal process, please contact the administrator at your campus and a withdrawal form will be sent.

Please note, formally withdrawing does not release you from the contractual agreement established in the enrollment contract. The full tuition amount is due according to the posted schedule and prior to the release of student records. All financial accounts must be settled through the business office before any official records or transcripts will be released.

Extraordinary Circumstances

Enrollment at Veritas entails tuition payments for the entire year, except for extraordinary circumstances such as a move, unemployment, death, or severe sickness in a student’s immediate family. All extraordinary circumstances will be reviewed and approved by the Head of School on a case-by-case basis.

If an extraordinary circumstance is found to apply:

  • Families paying monthly will be released from future tuition payments.

  • Families paying by semester or year-in-full: Tuition that was pre-paid will be refunded in the same amount as if the family was paying monthly. For example, a family paying in full gives adequate notice in November of a December withdrawal. In such a case, the chargeable months of tuition would be June through December, or 7 months. The family would be refunded 3 months, or 30%, of total tuition, for the 3 remaining months of payments under a monthly plan.

  • Registration, Supplies Fees, Extracurricular/Athletic Fees, Advising Fees, and FACTS fees are always non-refundable.

  • In no case can Veritas provide a simple pro-rata refund based on student attendance. By the time school begins, all tuition funds have been allocated or spent on non-discretionary expenses.

  • Application Fees are refundable if a family does not receive an offer of admission.
