Mrs. Lischau holds three degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of North Texas. She graduated with her Master of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Tech in 2021 and has taught Literature, Composition, and Creative Writing on both the grade school and university levels. She has published poems in a number of magazines, and when not writing, she loves to make pottery in her home art studio. She and her husband have been married for ten years and have two young children. She is passionate about prayer ministry and seeks to disciple her students to pursue a deep, intimate friendship with Jesus.
